Harbin Park has sweet trails in Fairfield, OH
May 20, 1999 on 6:56 pm | In Mountain |Bike Magazine sent a couple of its folks to write up an “Urb” on Cincinnati. (”Urb” is their urban trail section.) They asked Bio Wheels to guide them to our nicest and closest singletrack that was within Ohio. We unanimously agreed that Fairfield’s Harbin Park deserved some publicity. Harbin Park is located at the end of Hunter Road, off of SR 127, in Fairfield, OH.
Ben, Bob and Astella were very impressed with trail, as well as the flora. “I keep looking for gnomes”, Ben admitted as we whizzed through the forest. Despite it short (3+ miles) length, it is worth checking out. It is 98% singletrack. They reinforced the old theme of “quality- not quantity”.
Thanks to the City of Fairfield for showing that not all of Cincinnati has its head up its ass, in regards to trail access.
Expect to see the Harbin Park “Urb” in the September ‘99 issue of Bike Magazine.
