Tower Park offers great trails in Ft. Thomas, KY.

In late 1996, KyMBA obtained permission to develop trails in Tower Park, in Ft. Thomas, KY. In 2007, the trails are as vibrant as ever. Just up river about 5 miles from downtown from Cincinnati, Tower Park offers elevations of more than 400 vertical feet. Consequently, we’d rate these trails as intermediate to advanced.

The trails offer sweet overlooks of the winding Ohio River. Some big trees & lush hillsides offer glimpses into the past.

The trail system can be woven into a 3.5-mile labyrinth. The trails fall north from the tennis courts into the Ohio River Valley, roughly forming a figure-8 that is vivisected by a Y-shaped gravel road. If you get lost, follow the trails up hill, and you’ll pop out at the parking lot.

If you are out to work on your climbing, descending and switchback skills, Tower Park is an important addition to your repertoire.
